Lang Realty salutes Boca Raton beautification winners

The recognition encourages businesses, churches, homeowners associations and schools in the city limits to improve their landscaping and add to the beauty of Boca Raton. Lang Realty and Lang Management hosted a special luncheon for winners and officials following the ceremony. |

Boca Raton's red light cameras are rolling
SouthFloridaSunrise.com Staff report March 28--The installation of the red light cameras has been completed at six intersections in Boca Raton. The city activated the cameras last week, and the 30-day 'warning period' has begun. Warnings and citations will be mailed to the address of the owner of the vehicle recorded by the camera. |

Boca attorney creates national education program for middle schoolers
SouthFloridaSunrise.com Staff report May 2--Joel Rothman regularly speaks to middle schools on Law Day and Constitution Day about the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and our system of justice. In need of a story to engage kids and provide a context in which learning can flourish, he created a story based on his real life experiences as an A.D.A. in the Bronx. From his individual act of volunteerism, Rothman has created the beginnings of a national program - with participation by the American Bar Association - in civics education for middle schoolers.
